Today, CTU Rector Vojtěch Petráček, Director of the Service Facilities Administration Michal Vodička, and other CTU representatives ceremoniously opened the renovated Block 4 of the Strahov Dormitories. The new design features 228 double rooms available for university students. For comparison, a visit to the still-unrenovated Block 3 was also part of the ribbon-cutting event. The year-long renovation, which cost 36 million CZK, has transformed six floors of Block 4, each with thirty-eight double rooms, ready to welcome (old and) new students. For reference, all blocks of the Strahov Dormitories were built in 1963.
